HELLO.....!
went to watch a performing arts concert yesterday at Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School (PLMGS).
the school was superb rich ar...
they just build their own concert hall.
can u imagine that?!
it was their first performance at the concert hall.
i went to the concert with some of my band members.
about 18 of us went to watch the concert.
when we reach PLMGS...
my mouth was open...
well basically the school was nice and big.
something like St' Andrew school but smaller abit...
when i step in the concert hall, i was like wow...
it was big and very BEAUTIFUL....
Mrs Ng get our seats at a higher level...
the view from there was very nice but i couldn't see clearly coz i forgot to bring my specs.
before the performance start...
their principal spoke to the audience...
i didn't know that she did some praying...
after she spoke to the audience....
no one clap except me...
i was going to clap when wenchieh and angie stop me.
lucky they stopped me if not i'll be very paisey there...
hahax...
the first performance was from the band...
their band had won a silver in SYF 2007.
the song was quite nice eventhough i don't understand what song they were playing.
next was the choir...
they won a gold if im not wrong, in SYF 2007.
their voice was so nice and they sounded like one person singing.
after the choir was the drama.
if im not mistaken, the drama won gold/silver in SYF 2007.
the playing was superb.
they could project their voice loud anad they don't need a microphone.
it was about a girl who had an accident after fighting with her mom.
she was in a coma for so many month.
while in the coma, her spirit was awake.
she wanted to go to the carnival but her mom disallowed her.
that's where she had an accident after the arguement with her mom.
there was a girl who disguise like a baby.
her playing was sooo damn good ar.
there's modern dance too.
their dancing was very cute.
there's a small girl dancing too.
towards the end of the dance, saw one of the dancers fell.
i think she sprang her ankles.
poor thing la...
but she didn't stop dancing.
she coulg resist the pain and carry on dancing.
after that there's an 15mins interval.
me and wenchieh went to the toilet.
the school was so big that we didn't know where the toilet was.
we manage to find the toilet near the canteen.
there's one thing that made me giggled...
the handicap toilet was for the gents.
PLMGS is a girls school, that's why they don't have the gents much...
after the interval, it was the harp.
they won silver in SYF 2007.
i like their playing.
they know how to appreciate music when playing.
they were so attentive...
after that was the guitar.
they have over 90 people playing sey....
the were so united that they could play and sing well.
i like them playing the song mambo on. 5
after that, guzheng.
their players was more than our school.
its like triple the no. of our guzheng players lar...
last performance was the handbell.

they won GOLD WITH HONOURS for SYF 2007.
i was amazed by their playing.
after the concert head to northpoint.
me,mus,victor,angie,wadiah,wenchieh,iskandar and xinhui went to eat our dinner at KFC.
iskandar was so kind that he treats angie,victor and wenchieh.
while the rest of us use our own money to buy.
after that went to timezone to play.
then went to starbucks to buy frappicino for sis.
then home sweet home.
